The Company

Henry Williams Ltd is a well established manufacturing company based in Darlington with an ambition for growth and diversity. We are the only company in the UK that offers the complete package of forgings, sheet metal, fabrication, electrical projects and test facilities.

The Role:

To support the hammer crew in the safe and efficient production of forgings, put in measures so that quality, productivity and delivery targets are achieved during the production run

Job Details:


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Forklift truck duties
  • Accurately maintain the production systems
  • Working with hand tools

Essential Skills:

  • Current counterbalance forklift truck license
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Competent to use hand tools or hand powered tools
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements
  • Carried out fork lift truck duties within the last 6 months.

Desirable Skills :

  • Continuous improvement mind set - 6S / "lean" methodology
  • Experience of working with power presses
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday 7am - 4.45pm - 37 hours per week


Tuesday - Thursday 7am - 4.45pm Friday 7am - 2.45pm 37 hours per week
