A fine team of Henry Williams athletes competed in the Quaker Triathlon in support of a Rotary Club of Darlington fund raising event for bowel cancer testing equipment.

The pictured team of Simon Dawes, Danny Corby and Jon Heslop achieved the 25km cycle, 400m swim and 5km run in a very reputable time. Whilst they all claimed that they were fitter in their “youth” the far from aged team had been practising for a few weeks which paid dividends on the day and all remained standing at the end of their section – just.

Not only a good day out but also they raised over £400.
