Location Case Heat Shield

Designed for use in the tropical rainforest climate of Singapore which has uniform year round temperatures of 30-35 degrees centigrade

The Henry Williams heat shield prevents the cabinet from being subjected to direct solar rays and therefore prevents direct heat gain.

The shield acts in two ways; it prevents the location case from absorbing the direct heat of the sun and creates a chimney effect to cool the case.

As the sun hits the shield the shield warms up and radiates heat which rises, cool air is drawn into the gap at the bottom to replace the hotter air as it rises and further helps to cool the location case.
