Railways S & C (Signalling & Crossings)

Henry Williams have been the industry leaders in Signalling and Level Crossing infrastructure and technology since the integration of the modern train control systems.

Our engineers and electrical team understand the restrictions and tight timescales during signalling possessions and manufacture Location Case and REB assemblies that give signalling engineers complete confidence in our products.

Henry Williams’ services include the manufacture of Location case assemblies with approved mechanical racking, prefabricated with all electrical control equipment and fully kitted REB installations to your design criteria and specification. To further complement this service all units are tested to fulfil the requirements of TC2 certification and ensures a best practice approach to signalling systems.

Our key capabilities also include a design, installation, test and commissioning service of our products for power stations, private and preserved rail sites. Our team of project engineers, electricians and technicians hold PTS certification and are highly experienced in the installation of depot protection, signalling and train control systems.

Henry Williams are also highly regarded within the industry for offering a comprehensive design, manufacture, installation, test, commission and continued maintenance of all styles of level crossing control systems for preserved railways and private sites.

Our standard systems comprise of either a relay based system in line with Network Rail standards utilising 930 relays, or alternatively we have developed a PLC based system giving the same control function at a fraction of the cost.
