Network Rail has organised the Westwood Plant and Equipment Event at their premises in Coventry where they made a series of technical presentations to representatives of their maintenance teams from across the network.
Henry Williams was pleased to be invited to provide examples of their range of track and signalling products as part of an exhibition of maintenance equipment.
The photo shows the trailer that was taken to Coventry to showcase not only standard units such as lineside cubicles, joggled and lift fishplates, switch clamps and a Treadle but also some recently introduced products. The new longer joggled fishplate was shown which can be fitted where a sleeper would normally prevent all four G-clamps being securely fastened. There was also the newly approved Anti Vandal telephone kiosk and the easier fit Treadle base for flat bottom rail.
