Steve Ward joined the Fabrication department of Henry Williams in 1991. He has since progressed through Setter / Operator and Leading Hand to his recent appointment as Production Engineering Technician and today received his award from the company for 20 years service.
During that time he has seen many changes both to the company and the equipment that he has operated. In his early days the Proteus kept him busy until the arrival of the modern Pullmax replacement, pictured with Fabrication Manager Lee Taylor, which helped him and his team improve production rates and accuracy.
Steve now provides engineering support for the department but continues to show a keen interest in the production processes.
