We are the only Company in the UK that offers the complete package of forgings, sheet metal, fabrication, electrical projects, and test facilities.

 

The Role

Provide administrative support for the commercial and other businesses of Henry Williams Ltd.

This position will be on a 12 week temp to perm basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales

  • Produce quotations based on engineering estimates
  • Customer account creation and management including credit checks
  • Liaise with customers for scheduled / call-of contracts
  • Process customer orders into the ERP system including Works Order creation and Contract Review
  • Provide interface between Production and Customers
  • Organise finished product despatch.
  • Prepare and progress Applications for Payment
  • Process invoice and credit notes

Purchasing

  • RFQ
  • Supplier selection in conjunction with Henry Williams Ltd QA procedures.
  • Raise purchase orders according to business needs
  • Optimise inventory levels with regard to supplier lead times, EOQ's and production requirements
  • Monitor and expedite outstanding purchase orders
  • Progress supplier quality issues in conjunction with QA
  • Resolve supplier invoice queries and update the Accounts Department

  • Knowledge of sales and purchasing processes
  • Good customer focus both internally and externally
  • Good communication skills
  • CRM knowledge
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Good Microsoft package skills

Desirable skills:

  • Manufacturing administration background
  • Rail & Highways administration background
  • Continuous improvement min set and ways of working - 6S/lean methodology
  • An understanding of accounts/procurement systems and processes

Working Hours

37 hours per week

Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm

Friday – 8.30am – 4pm
