The move towards single driver operation, more elaborate traffic conditions, and above all the objectives of greater safety have led the rail networks to seek devices aimed at improving the quality and quantity of information available in the cab.

Henry Williams are able to provide a complete train control system, which takes the condition of the trackside signalling, processes the information onboard and presents a visual and audible signal to the driver as well as being applied to train-borne automatic devices.

The system is extensively used throughout Europe by SNCF and is now installed on the Glasgow underground.
