Railtex 2017 – Closing thoughts…

After a very busy few days at the NEC and with the dust settled, we can now look back at some of the highlights of the show. For me our new location cabinet weather shield proves that combining innovation, engineering and British manufacturing can produce some of the best ideas .

By adapting the Henry Williams Sunshade, a cover can be extended out to afford overhead protection from rain. An additional plastic sheet can then be rolled out to offer cover from behind. With the doors locked into position this affords the user a dry area in which to work during our often inclement weather. When not required it can be neatly rolled away and the cover locked back into position.

Whilst manning the stand our MD Andrew Nelson repeatedly performed “the great unveil” with gusto. Feedback from all in the rail industry was resoundingly positive ranging from: “why didn’t I think of that?” to “being a solution to a real safety issue”.

What this space for further information on this innovative new product.

Look forward to seeing you all at Infrarail 2018
